LocationMatava Astrolabe Hideaway is located in the lush tropical surroundings of Kadavu Island, Fijis fourth largest island situated 100km south of the main island Viti Levu is one of the few remainings undeveloped islands today. Air Fiji and Pacific Sun serve the island of Kadavu with daily flights from Nadi and Suva. There's also a ferry service from Suva and upon your arrival you'll be picked up by one of boats of Matava resort.

Accommodation - Drift to sleep to the soothing roar of the waves breaking on the distant reef and be awakened to the call of exotic native wildlife. Matava Resort offers Traditional thatched Fijian bures with additional timber polished floors, louver windows, timber four poster beds and private decks are nestled in the rainforest to offer privacy, comfort and superb ocean views.
- For the budget traveller there are private Waterfront Bures with shared bathroom facilites and a dormitory bure that sleeps up to five people.
