| Sunrise boasts a spacious indoor dining/entertainment/bar area, as well as an outdoor open sided summer bure on the edge of the beach. It is here that visitors enjoy singing and playing guitar with the locals, or simply reading a book from the communal library. The use of traditional bure construction maintains local skills, uses local natural renewable materials and fits in with the character of the settlement. Bures are built close to the beach and feature reed lining, woven palm lined ceilings, exposed timber and mosquito nets. |
